Description
Theories and objectives for teaching literacy in the elementary grades (K-6). Strategies for teaching word recognition, decoding, vocabulary, comprehension, and critical thinking are a major focus. Strategies and methods for teaching ELL students will be included. Field-based assignment required. Prerequisite or corequisite: EDT610.
