Description
This course provides a comprehensive study of the human body’s structure and function with an emphasis on practical applications in physical education, strength and conditioning, and sports medicine. Students will explore the major body systems, including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, endocrine, and digestive systems, focusing on how these systems work together to maintain health and respond to physical activity, injury, and disease. Key topics include the physiological mechanisms that regulate homeostasis, cell-cell communication, and how anatomical structures support function. Students will engage in case studies, lab activities, and discussions that connect theoretical knowledge with practical application.
