Description
This course provides education students the opportunity to explore the teaching field. The course requires a 40-hour initial field-based experience in a TEXT mentor’s K-12 classroom. Candidates will also meet on-campus. Topics discussed are program policy, fundamental expectations of teaching, and reflective writing. This course is an important part of the Advancement to Teacher Candidacy process. Fee required. Part of the fee is non-refundable due to the required background check clearance. FA, SP.
