Description
This course is designed to provide the physical education teacher with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experiences for successful teaching in physical education. It will help the physical education teacher-in-training understand the importance of quality physical education and how to integrate the spectrum of methods used to teach physical education in grades K-12. Topics will include classroom management, physical education standards and curriculum, diverse learners and needs in the physical education classroom, and best practices to become critical thinkers, creative planners, and effective practitioners in the area of physical education.
